Join us at SSTS20 to pack meals and help fight local hunger.

There's so much more to being a kid.

Kids have more important things to worry about.

Kids should be focused on adventure, play, and being kids—not on where their next meal will come from. But in Utah, 1 in 7 kids are affected by food insecurity, which has serious implications on their physical and mental development, academic achievements, and long-term prospects. Every child deserves a worry-free childhood and a bright future—and both start with a healthy meal.

Food shoudn't be a choice.

Many of us are fortunate enough to have a variety of meal options at our fingertips. But every day, families across the U.S. have to make tougher decisions about food. In the 2014 Hunger in America survey, families facing hunger shared the choices they faced:

Let's start a food fight

No child should go hungry, and it's our responsibility to help the youngest and most vulnerable members of our community get the head start they need. During the Silicon Slopes Tech Summit, we're inviting organizations, individuals, groups, and families to join us in packing 1 million healthy meals for the Utah Food Bank. Sign up with your team, your friends, or on your own, and we can start giving children their childhood back.
